So, this is interesting. When and how does the media choose to portray someone?
For example, take a look at the picture of George Bush on Radio Free Europe's article about the budget. Now, you'd be inclined to think that this is a picture of the President speaking stridently about the budget. And he looks a bit mean so you, perhaps, walk away with a certain impression.
Well, that picture is more than a year old. We used it on DisabilityInfo.gov for it's launch more than a year ago (Oct 16, 2002 to be exact) and we got the picture from the White House at least two months before that. (And it's only in the next few weeks that we'll finally change it. Go figure.)
I just thought it was interesting. I wonder why they chose that particular picture. Making a point, perhaps?
