Weather Channel

I started this post by asking the question "Who did Jim Cantore of the Weather Channel piss off to always be sent to the worst places to report?" Whenever there is super-dangerous weather, he's right there in the midst of it reporting. In fact, I just turned on the TV and he was the first person I saw standing on the beach in North Carolina waiting for Isabel to arrive.

So, I did a quick google on him so I could provide some links. And I found some interesting articles about him and how he loves to do the field reporting in dangerous conditions. He tells the story of how one woman recognized him on a plane and was upset that he was headed towards her town.

So, there you go. Mystery solved. Read about him yourself. He's become our household favorite meteorologist (every family has one, right?) -- link 1, link 2, link 3.
