• Ric Ford of MacInTouch reports that Steve Jobs called him and they talked about the future of the Mac. Ric can't reveal a lot of it, but he is optimistic. And the MessagePad is OK. Here's hoping...

• One reason I've been so busy is that I was working on the new Houghton Mifflin Interactive website. I'm very happy with how it came out.
• I also did a redesign of the Technology in Education website at the Harvard Grad School of Education.

• Apple confirms it will not spin off Newton business. Rumor has it they may kill the MessagePad. This would be a mistake, IMHO.
